Thanks for this post. This is a case where I definitely want confirmation, because there is no Recycle Bin — the files are gone forever.

Any thoughts? I am running Windows 10 Home. It works not like an external drive, it is a different thing. Especially as I am working on multiple screens and use keyboards with different layouts at different workplaces. After the tutorial where we created batch to zip files , this is another useful tutorial for your daily jobs.

You will need to delete those files manually every day and this is not good practice. On the other hand, you can create a script to delete the file automatically. All of that without installing any third-party software.
